Facilitators

All Facilitators are trained by the Center for Teacher Formation charged with the development of the Courage to Teach movement for PreK-12 educators. There are currently about 90 Facilitators across the country; five are in Tarrant County.

Cynthia T. Johnson, LMSW-AP
Cindy is a community activist and consultant to public and private non-profit organizations. She has led numerous retreats, book discussion groups and short-term renewal activities for Courage to Teach. She also provides consultation and training for the national Courage to Teach movement and is the coordinator of the Tarrant County program.

Roland Johnson
Roland Johnson serves in the legal profession at the law firm of Harris, Finley & Bogle, P.C. He is also an adjunct professor at the TWU School of Law.

Twyla Miranda, Ph.D.
Twyla is an associate professor in the School of Education at Texas Wesleyan University. Prior to her association with Wesleyan, she was a classroom teacher.

Donald Porter, Certified Teacher
Donald is a teacher in the Crowley Independent School District. Prior to his focus on education, Donald practiced corporate and personal tax accounting and business management.

Estrus Tucker
Estrus is the executive director of Liberation Community and the president of the Minority Leaders and Citizens Council. He also is well known for his facilitation, speaking and consulting skills.
